Due to our company environment and when working remotely over a client computer to office firewall VPN connection, due to the vagaries of Internet routing or when the office firewall policy is being updated, the VPN will occasionally drop out for a few seconds, sometimes drop out for a few minutes. When this happens Spark will loose connection with the office Openfire server then try to automatically reconnect when the VPN recovers.
With recent versions of Spark the automatic reconnection to the Openfire server does not appear to be as robust and reliable as previous versions have been. Spark will reconnect eventually however earlier versions would reconnect at first or second attempt after the VPN is re-established.
Has anyone else seen this problem?
