How To Update To New Version (.zip-Server 2008 R2)

Greetings,

I run the .zip version of OpenFire on Server 2008 R2. I see that a new update is out. This is a very basic install, with the built in data base, and I think just one plug in (the web reg one). How do i go about updating to the newest version, without losing/overwriting my settings and users, etc...?

Do I just replace the .exe's?
